Updating Your Information within Your KfW Student Loan Application
Applications in Progress: Making Adjustments
If your application is still in progress and has not been completed, you have the flexibility to change and adjust your information at any time. Simply access your application from this page and review and modify the relevant details.
It is crucial to update your information if there have been any changes in your study situation. For instance, if you have switched courses or universities, you should provide a document, such as an enrollment certificate from the new university, as proof of the updated situation. By ensuring that your application reflects the current state of your studies, you make sure that the application will be successful.
Contract Creation Stage: Requesting Changes
If you have already created the contract but have not completed the entire application process, we can still assist you in making changes. Simply reach out to us through the chat function and let us know which information requires modification.
Our team will promptly review your request and, if necessary, reset your contract, allowing you to make the necessary adjustments and create a new contract with the updated information. We are dedicated to ensuring that your application accurately represents your circumstances and that you have a smooth and seamless experience.
Submitted Applications: How to Update Your Data after the Application has been completed
Once you have submitted your application by completing the online legitimation, it will be forwarded to KfW and we no longer have direct access to make changes.
However, if there are significant details in your application that require modification, such as a change in your course of study or an incorrect birthdate in the contract, please contact us through the chat. Our team will assess your situation and, if necessary, contact KfW to revoke your initial application. This will allow you to submit a new application with the correct information.
For "minor" changes, such as your address or telephone number, you can contact KfW directly via phone at 0800 539 9003 or online through this link to update these details in the KfW system.
